Prayer is a means by which humans communicate with their Creator, expressing their faith in the power of God and desire for Him to act. There is quite a body of evidence that suggests that prayer has powerful results, including the Bible and the personal testimony of a vast number of people throughout history.
When we pray, we submit our requests to God, believing in His power and the promises. The answer may not look how you expect, but pray nonetheless, putting your trust and hope in a God who is full of love and mercy towards His people.
